Responsible for reviewing bills of material and associated documents against manufacturing orders and quantities, verifying part/system configurations as needed including comparative review of drawing specifications and actual components or parts. Final Inspection activities include the connectivity of power supplies, correct components, and verified torques of connections. Further, verification that no components or subassemblies are loose or disconnected is an essential part of the ‘final’ process. Assure that any kits not part of the final assembly are complete and accompany equipment prior to moving out to shipping.

  • Makes extensive use of computers/software for stock accounting and retrieval of drawings or specifications on received items.
  • Records inspection results, categorize type and frequency of defects, and communicate with supervisor/management.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with senior management, supervisors, and other personnel.
  • Carries and delivers acceptable products to inventory stock locations as well as isolate nonconforming products against unintended use

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to read, write, communicate and perform simple math calculations.
  • Experience working under ISO 9000, GMPs, GDPs, or other regulated environments
