A comprehensive monitoring and management system for network infrastructure, specifically designed for DAS and coverage products. It supports real-time network monitoring, utilising monitoring software to manage various network devices and small cells. The system includes network visualisation tools, allowing users to view signal sources and network elements. AEM's alert systems enable quick identification of issues, improving user experience. Its compatibility with different communication protocols makes it effective for network analysis and managing large-scale, complex deployments.

Multiple communication mechanisms and protocols including SNMP, SSH, Telnet, and dial-up connectivity.

Multiple communication mechanisms and protocols like SNMP, SSH, Telnet, and dial-up connectivity in the management, operations, and support center for PBE Axell DAS and coverage products provides key benefits.

Overall, these features provide a robust and versatile network management solution that enhances the ability to maintain, monitor, and optimise the DAS effectively in a variety of environments and situations.

Flexibility

Supports a wide-range of communication protocols, enabling seamless integration of various equipment types and ages. This includes legacy technologies like Telnet, allowing us to monitor older equipment alongside current products without any extra effort from the customer.

Remote Management

Enables remote access to network components via multiple connectivity options, allowing real-time troubleshooting, updates, and configuration changes from any location.

Monitoring and Automation

SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) supports network monitoring and automation by providing real-time data on network performance and equipment status, which helps in proactive maintenance and reduces downtime.

Redundancy and Reliability

High availability solutions are available, ensuring continuous monitoring even if one location becomes unavailable.

PBE Spider AEM - Active Element Manager

Complete management, operations, & support centre for PBE Axell DAS and coverage products.

PBE Axell’s Active Element Management (AEM) software is a complete management, operations, and support centre for PBE Axell DAS and coverage products. It is designed to meet the monitoring needs of customers managing large and complex deployments of PBE Axell DAS and Off-Air Repeater systems.

AEM is designed with a focus on alarm management and supervision. A direct link function allows connecting to any web-based element quickly, accessing their internal web server to make UI-based changes to the configuration or view detailed parameters. AEM is optimised to enable operators to identify issues quickly and efficiently with different communication interfaces available between the elements and AEM, including SNMP, SSH, Telnet and traditional dial-up modems. Multiple clients can access the system simultaneously using web-based devices (PC, Tablet etc.) without the need for specific client software to be installed.

The advanced GUI application provides easy access to information about all PBE Axell coverage products and DAS within an estate. A comprehensive set of screens allow either the whole network to be presented in several overview charts through to being able to manage the detailed operational statistics and configuration of an individual device. Individual network elements can be integrated into geographic maps to further enhance the overview of the whole coverage network within an estate.

A range of alarms indicate if faults have occurred in any of the managed devices which can be forwarded as SNMP traps to third party OSS systems or to a customer specific NOC (Network Operations Centre) as required.

Batch Deployment & Remote Software Updates...

...providing a streamlined, cost-effective, and reliable way to maintain and optimise network systems, ensuring high availability and consistent performance.

Auto-discovery of new elements
