idDAS™ Optical DASThe PBE Axell idDAS™ solution provides a flexible, customisable, and expandable wireless coverage solution for multiple services over a common infrastructure. Analogue RF services (from a range of BTS to off air repeater) are conditioned, digitized and then transported by utilising CPRI links over single-mode or multi-mode fibre infrastructure to remote locations.
Based on SFP transceivers the fibre distance can be up to 80 km depending on the radio standard. The idDAS solution can be expanded and customized according to changing coverage and capacity needs: additional sectors can be easily added for more coverage, while existing sectors can be reallocated.
